The Magic Kingdom at Christmas

We took the kids for the evening to the Magic Kingdom last night to experience the lights. It was truly beautiful and magical. We are looking forward to taking our family there at Christmas when they come to visit us.

Christmas Time in Florida

Being the Disney "freaks" that we are, I decided to take the kids to Hollywood Studios to experience the lights and magic of the holidays Disney style. It was really great fun. We brought two of Grace's friends and experienced the light show and music. They even made it snow! Being a Minnesota girl I have to say that it really felt like it was snowing!

Halloween 2009

This was our first Halloween in Florida. It was 90 degrees when we went trick or treating and all the chocolate bars melted! I have never heard kids complain from being too hot in their costumes but mine were. And believe me it was hot and humid all night long. But despite the heat and the dogs, that scared Ella and Little Nathan, we still managed to get a load of candy and have fun doing it.

Halloween continued

Yes, those are my kids trick or treating in the grocery store! It was a pretty cool deal. Since it was so hot out we decided to head over to the local grocery store. They had trick or treating all around the store. It was really nice and they got great treats!
This is our front door and our decorations. Each year we plan on adding a little more. The lights above the door are skull lights that Grace picked out.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins on Friday night and then had a family movie. We all enjoyed seeing our creations and Daddy and Grace did a great job carving the faces out.
