Papa John Visits

It has become a tradition for my dad (Kris's) to visit for Graces and my birthday in February. This year he came a few weeks later. Although it was cool this year we still had fun visiting Circle B Bar Ranch, playing at home, watching Noels football game and a day in Orlando with my Aunt Bev, Papa Johns sister. We all love when Papa John comes to town.

Happy Birthday Grace

Today is Grace's 10th Birthday! Last night I made her favorite dinner of ham, homemade mashed potatoes and fresh corn on the cob and of course birthday cake. She had her two friends Anna and Amelia over for dinner and then a sleep over. They had a wonderful time. Today her friends had the day off and so she was able to play all day with them. It was a fun 2 days for her and now she is laying on my bed watching a tv show and about to fall asleep! Grace you are a wonderful pre-teen (she likes that she falls in that category). You are so sweet and fun. You have a gentle and loving heart. You love to have fun and play with your friends and brothers and sister. We love you so much! Happy Birthday my Sweet 10 year!!

Noels Baptizism

Today Noel was baptized by our friend and pastor of our church, Dax Gibson. This fall Noel and Grace took a class that taught them about communion and what it means to take communion. During this class Noel decided that he also wanted to be baptized. We are so proud of the young man he is becoming. He has a wonderful heart and spirit and loves Jesus. We look forward to watching him grow in his faith. We love you Noel.

Noel's Blue Belt

Noel recently had his test to pass to the rank of Blue Belt in Taekwondo. During his testing he had to sparr two boys, each individually and then against both of them at the same time. He also broke a board with his hand! We are so proud of his hard work and achievement in Taekwondo.

January 2010

One of my friends from Memphis, Angie, came to visit us in January with her two kids, Sara and Hunter. Angie had a conference for 3 days and her kids played and hung out with us. Grace and Sara are the same age and have been best friends since birth and Hunter is right in between the boys, age wise. So it was great fun. Unfortunately they came in the middle of the coldest weather that they have had in Florida in 10 years. Despite that we still went to the beach and collected shells and I took the kids to Magic Kingdom for the day. It was wonderful to spend time with our dear friends that we have missed so much.
