My Nephew and Niece

I was able to spend time with my sister in law Joni, my nephew Lucas and my niece Addison when we were in MN. My mother in law joined us along with my parents for the afternoon and dinner. Lucas is 2 yrs old and is tons of fun. Nathan, Lucas and I had fun jumping on his bed, dancing and playing with all his toys in his room. Addison will be one in October, is so laid back and cute! She showed us how she can roll all over and eat like a big girl. It was wonderful to finally meet my niece and we all cannot wait until they come to visit us in July.

Noel and Papa John in Chicago

Hot Dogs and rain at the White Soxs and Twins game. They had to wear garbage bags and it was cold and windy. But Noel enjoyed his "guy time" at the game and the Twins ended up winning!
Both Noel and Grandpa said it was a great weekend.

Away he goes!

Waving good bye was a little difficult but my step father was so sweet. He put his arm around my shoulders and told me that he thought a "Caribou" was in order. He knows that Caribou Coffee is my favorite coffee shop. So off he and I and Little Nathan went to start our weekend together.

The Gritty Palace

Here are the boys standing next to the rail car. This rail car attaches to the Amtrak and is the last car. It is so much fun to travel. Noel and my father and his friends left on Friday am for the guys trip to Chicago. There they went out to eat, to a Twins/Cubs baseball game and to the flea market. Noel enjoyed being the only grandchild with his Papa and he LOVES trains as much as his Papa. Thank you Papa John for taking Noel on this special train weekend to Chicago! The following pictures are ones I was able to take before they left.

Our Trip to Minnesota

The boys and I took a trip to Minnesota last weekend. Noel was invited to take the train down to Chicago with Papa John and Little Nathan spent the weekend with Grandma Candy and Papa Dan. This was us on the airplane. Baby Stitch is the favorite stuffed animal for all of the kids. He has been on many adventures and this was one of them. Nathan insisted that he wanted his picture taken on the plane!

Amanda & Devin

Our friends Amanda and Devin drove down from Memphis to celebrate Devin's 9th birthday. We spent our time swimming in the pool, going to the beach and on Devin's birthday we went to Magic Kingdom. The two of them have never been to Disney World so it was a treat for us to be with them on their first visit and on Devin's birthday. We had a wonderful time and were at Disney for 13 hours! I heard Devin saying the next day that he had the "best birthday ever!" This was our first non family friend guest and it was a blast for all of us. We hope to have them back soon!
