The kids I were just sitting in the office talking and all of a sudden Nathan walked up to me with his fingers in his mouth. He said he had a loose tooth. And in a matter of a few minutes he was holding it in his hands. Looking at his face it is the bottom left side. He was so proud of losing his 3rd tooth that he wanted to take a picture and put it on the blog! Way to go Nathan!

Playing with Papa and Grandma
Since I had only one of the kids with me the grandparents were able to spend a lot of time and spoil Nathan over the weekend. Besides, taking him to the movies, the zoo and the ice cream shop, every night we would play a game of hangman. Nathan and I were team against grandma and Papa. We had many laughs especially the night that they choose the word FLORIDA and misspelled it two times! It was fun to hear everyone laugh so hard! Thank you Grandma Candy and Papa Dan for such a fun weekend!

The Red Race Car
And off they go. Nathan was so excited to discover that Papa Dan has a red race car in his garage. Nathan was jumping up and down he was so excited to ride in the red race car. I told Nathan that some day he could buy Papa Dan's race car from him and then take Papa Dan for rides. He thought that was funny!

Papa's Special Dessert
So we went out to eat at a salad buffet. Of course they have an ice cream bar and of course Papa Dan and Nathan discovered some treats. When they got back to the table they both had huge smiles on their plates and were so proud to show us their HUGE plate of desserts! It was like a dream come true for a kid and for Papa Dan, who loves dessert! I am not sure who enjoyed it more..Papa or Nathan.

The Gritty Palace
Here are the boys standing next to the rail car. This rail car attaches to the Amtrak and is the last car. It is so much fun to travel. Noel and my father and his friends left on Friday am for the guys trip to Chicago. There they went out to eat, to a Twins/Cubs baseball game and to the flea market. Noel enjoyed being the only grandchild with his Papa and he LOVES trains as much as his Papa. Thank you Papa John for taking Noel on this special train weekend to Chicago! The following pictures are ones I was able to take before they left.
Our Trip to Minnesota
The boys and I took a trip to Minnesota last weekend. Noel was invited to take the train down to Chicago with Papa John and Little Nathan spent the weekend with Grandma Candy and Papa Dan. This was us on the airplane. Baby Stitch is the favorite stuffed animal for all of the kids. He has been on many adventures and this was one of them. Nathan insisted that he wanted his picture taken on the plane!

Amanda & Devin
Our friends Amanda and Devin drove down from Memphis to celebrate Devin's 9th birthday. We spent our time swimming in the pool, going to the beach and on Devin's birthday we went to Magic Kingdom. The two of them have never been to Disney World so it was a treat for us to be with them on their first visit and on Devin's birthday. We had a wonderful time and were at Disney for 13 hours! I heard Devin saying the next day that he had the "best birthday ever!" This was our first non family friend guest and it was a blast for all of us. We hope to have them back soon!
